Gentle Yoga for Stress is a guided, trauma informed yoga practice designed to help reduce stress and relieve tension and overwhelm in the body and mind. Taught by specially trained Trauma Informed Yoga Teachers, this class helps students become grounded in the present moment and allows them to explore the benefits of mindfulness as they flow breath to movement in a guided slow moving practice. Ranging from a meditative and more still practice to sometimes incorporating slower flow practices - each class will guide students through a calming practice infused with asana (postures), pranayama (breath work) and meditation.
