For yoga teachers, therapists and healers seeking to understand the therapeutic applications of the breath and deepen their personal breathwork practice, this immersive, experiential training draws from a rich tapestry of traditions including Somatic Experiencing, Vedic philosophy, Chinese medicine, and modern neuroscience, to offer a comprehensive approach to breathwork.


TRAINING INCLUDES:
->Five, 10 hour in-person weekends - These monthly experiential lectures delve into a comprehensive curriculum with topics such as the nervous system's relationship with breath, the science and anatomy of breathing, yogic anatomy, liberation practices and therapeutic applications of the breath.

->Integration Circles - Monthly facilitated groups provide space for sharing experiences, insights, and challenges, enhancing the communal aspect of the training.

->Empathy Partner - Each participant is paired with an empathy partner to provide mutual support, reflection, and accountability throughout the training.

About the teacher

Alicia has been teaching yoga for 24 years and practicing for 30. Previously a psychotherapist and yoga therapist for 18 years. Alicia has been a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner since 2018. She currently combines Somatic Experiencing with relational healing, which can include psychedelic somatic modalities in individual and group settings.

Her breathwork approach emphasizes the relational and somatic aspects, creating a safe and supportive environment for exploration and healing. Through this training, participants can expect to develop a profound connection with their breath, gain practical tools for personal and professional use, and become part of a supportive community dedicated to collective liberation and healing.
