IN-PERSON: Tuesday Night Meditation & Yoga for Recovery: 4-Class Series

Recovery takes time and dedication to healing the whole person – mind, body & spirit. The path of yoga offers profound wisdom to help increase awareness, reduce anxiety, and re-connect the individual to a life of vitality. Open to a small group of students, this special 4-week course is designed for people newer to yoga or recovery, or both. We’ll explore the basics of yoga for the body, mind, and spirit. Physical postures help stretch, strengthen, and awaken the body, breathing techniques for quelling anxiety and anxiousness, concentration techniques to focus the mind and reduce anxiety. Each class is 90 minutes and will include some discussion, sharing, yoga & meditation. There is no way to do yoga wrong and there is no experience required.

Led by specially trained teachers in yoga with experience in recovery, you will be welcomed into warm community of diverse and accepting humans, all seeking peace. You are welcome here.

6:00-7:30pm

Cost:4 weeks of classes $100, or by donation. Please do not let finances be a barrier to participation. If you would like to pay by donation at the door, please select that option.
