Dear friends…

I am beyond honored to shift into the role of Sol Yoga Studio Director. Having spent over 15 years being immersed in the Sol Yoga Community, I have found a home and a true sense of belonging and family at Sol. Looking forward, I will be working hard to bring together our teacher team by spearheading teacher development, strengthening connection and creating avenues for our teachers to practice what they love, teach what they love and share with eachother what they are feeling most passionate about in the path of yoga. I plan to work hard expanding Sol's roots into the Fredrick Community in new and innovative ways and most importantly, to tend to our community of students and the wonderful volunteers and team members that wholeheartedly support our studio each week.  When I'm not busy working with teachers and community building, you can find me planning for our upcoming 300 Hour Yoga Teacher Training that I will be leading this May. Perhaps you'll consider joining me for that journey?

My deepest gratitude and reverence goes to Dorcas and her deep and skillful awareness that is so special and rare in this world. With her ever constant steady gaze and relaxed temperament, she has shaped this studio with love, hard work and an unwavering dedication to the yogic path. As she begins to direct her work toward expanding Sol to more than a yoga studio, creating a robust nonprofit designed to invite more space for those who are seeking healing as a result of the hardships and struggles that come with living in this modern time, I without pause accept the honor of taking the reins of our community Yoga Studio.

In all of nature, growth is a process. Just like yoga is a process. It begins as something small, takes root and then grows. When there is growth, there is always change, and yoga is about being open to the possibility of change. We look forward to embarking on this new growth and change together, as a community.
