This healing centered training will explore many areas of Embodied Healing and Trauma Conscious Yoga and focus on how practices of mindfulness, movement, breathwork and Ayurveda as well as the application of yoga ethics and Buddhism in modern day living help us to widen our lens to reclaim our wholeness. This training, taken as an individual weekend or alone with additional training weekends together, is for anyone, even if it is not for the purpose of guiding students through yoga practices.
Yoga means to unite and to bring together. Research continues to show us that trauma often leaves people feeling dysregulated, disconnected and alone. Through these growth oriented practices and their delivery to the realization of our innate wholeness, this program invites us to move toward greater interconnectedness and a community of belonging.
We will explore the wisdom, anatomy, and symptoms of trauma as well as work to build the necessary containers and tools to be prepared to tap into the inner resources needed to respond to the symptoms which manifest within us so we can begin to navigate the non-linear healing process that we all travel. There are so many body based strategies within us to learn and explore together.
