Fall is here - New Classes are too!

Hello Friends!

The leaves have begun to drop - the fall Schedule takes effect on the fall equinox, Tuesday September 22, 2026 and available online now! Almost everything is reliably the same - 4-7 offerings every single day of the week.

Some things you’ll notice:

NEW WEEKLY CLASSES

Tuesday morning Moderate Yoga at 930am w/ Kristina

Erin Sprague returns to the regular schedule - Monday morning 930am for Slow Flow Yoga

Breath & Gentle Movement w/Alicia on Wed at noon

Heal & Recover is back on Thursdays @ 530

CLASS TITLES are slightly different…

Thank you so much to those of you that participated in our survey about the class titles. About 55% of the responses were in favor of keeping the class titles the same and 45% chose the ‘new’ options. In addition, there were a lot of wonderful suggestions and comments. So… the results take into account BOTH keeping things the same and some clarifying (we hope) edits. For those that are interested, I’ve copied all the main class titles and descriptions here - the specialty classes are further below.

(Gentle or Moderate) Yoga - Connect to your body, steady your mind & nervous system and awaken your spirit in this accessible journey through yoga postures, breathing, meditation practices, and yogic philosophy. A well-rounded offering of effort and ease, no experience is required for Gentle Yoga, some experience or physical fitness suggested for the Moderate Yoga.

(If you are looking for a more ‘athletic’ style of yoga, try our flow yoga classes).

(Slow, Moderate or Hot) Flow Yoga - Sol’s Flow Yoga offers dynamic vinysasa classes based on sun salutations - designed to awaken, strengthen and soothe your body, mind and spirit. Active and somewhat vigorous, having the ability to get up and down from the floor repeatedly will make this experience more comfortable. Slow Flow is a slower introductory level, Moderate and Hot Flow offer options for more advanced sequences or postures. For ’Hot flow yoga’, the room is heated up to 90 degrees. All classes are open to anyone without serious injury.

(If you are looking for a less vigorous style, try our Gentle or Moderate Yoga classes)

(Other Specialty Class Descriptions)

Meditation & Discussion - Anyone can join this 20 minute period of silence followed by optional sharing/discussion.  A brief reading or inspiration will be offered by the facilitator.  You are invited to be comfortable so you can lay down, sit on the floor, lean against the wall or grab a chair. No 'meditation' experience or special equipment or attire is required. Come as you are!

Restorative - Indulge in self care as you sink into 60 minutes of deep release and relaxation in this delicious restorative/yin yoga class. Intended to ease mental and physical tension in a lasting way, a slow-paced style of yoga with floor poses, or asanas, that are held for longer periods of time—3-5 minutes per pose is typical. This class is great for calming the nervous system while targeting the connective tissues, such as the ligaments, bones, and joints of the body. This all levels class is a great compliment to more active styles of asana practice, exercise, or a busy lifestyle.

Heal & Recover w/Yoga & Meditation - Broaden your understanding of yoga as an effective tool for healing and recovery from any physical, mental or emotional disturbance in life. All are welcome in this skillfully guided practice complete with a mini lesson in yoga theory/philosophy plus a physical practice of postures, breathing techniques and meditation. You are invited to bring a journal or share. Facilitators of this class have direct experience with healing & recovers and/or are specially trained to facilitate a deeper inquiry.

Awakening Morning Practice - Join a community of familiar yoga teachers and students as we show up together to start the day off with movement, breathing and connection. All are welcome.

Breath & Gentle Movement - A slow, nourishing practice of settling into the body we already have. Through breathwork & gentle movement, we explore the connection between the physical body and the breath, creating space to slow down, listen inward, and reconnect with ourselves. A practice centered on self-consent, compassion and connection. No Experience required.
