Join us on a path to better living with our 4-part series, open to all levels, held Wednesdays at 6 PM (no class Thanksgiving Eve). Each session offers practical, in-person guidance to help you build a lifelong meditation practice.
Following each lesson, stay for our Meditation & Discussion Group (7–8 PM)—a time to practice and reflect on what was explored during the class.
About Sol’s School of Meditation
Sol’s School of Meditation was created in memory of devoted practitioners who inspired and supported Sol over the years. The school continues their mission by helping people develop and sustain a daily meditation practice, while fostering a welcoming community for learning, connection, and shared wisdom.
We also offer teacher training for those who wish to share meditation in the wider world—including in correctional facilities and community institutions.

Ray Manyoky (passed 2025)
Ray was a beloved guide within the Frederick meditation community and a leader at the Frederick Meditation Center. Sol cherished their outdoor collaborations and remembers Ray’s warm smile and generous heart greeting everyone from the bell tower. He is deeply missed.
Travis Coker
Travis discovered yoga and meditation while incarcerated—transforming his life. After release, he joined Sol’s community and Wednesday night meditation group, often driving two hours just to meditate in person. His quiet stamina and passion for the practice was noticed. He passed away in 2025 from a car accident while living the life he had dreamed of.
