Sacred Sisters Frederick - Women’s Circle

Welcome! We are the facilitators of Sacred Sisters. In photo above: Carrie, Nicole, Alicia, and Amanda (starting at the top left, going clockwise). Together in September of 2022, Nicole and Amanda along with our dear friends Nicole H, Beccah, and Ally founded Sacred Sisters. We have been holding this space ever since and have since welcomed Carrie and Alicia as facilitators to support our community as well. We created this space because our hearts all yearned for the same thing: Sisterhood. A deep, playful, supportive, creative, courageous Sisterhood.

Women’s Circles are a tradition that goes way back within many different cultures. Often these circles involved song, dance, sharing, prayer, creating, teaching, caring, lifting up, laughing, and holding space for one another’s joys and sorrows. They involved women of all ages, and we invite women of all ages, cultures, and backgrounds to join our circle. It is so easy in this modern world to feel disconnected. From ourselves, from each other, and from the Earth. Each of us facilitators has tread a path of healing and personal transformation. And we continue to. We can do a lot of healing on our own, but truly there are some things that require community to heal. And we’re here for it. We’re ready to show up in a bold, authentic, and vulnerable way and we hope you’ll join us.
